Life-Long DuPage Resident, ready to serve

Daniel Lomeli, born and raised in DuPage County, credits the county for shaping his values and raising him into the person he is today.

From learning how to walk to running for office, Daniel has known DuPage to be his only home. It was here where he attended Metea Valley High School, graduated from North Central College with a double-major in Political Science and Philosophy, and earned his first community engagement experiences.

Beginning in college, Daniel has participated in several student-led organizations, such as NCC's Blue Key Honor Society chapter, to foster community engagement among his peers. Furthermore, he has volunteered for several local events, non-profit organizations, and his family's local restaurant.

It was through these experiences where Daniel found his calling in public service; not only was helping out his community important to him, it was also enjoyable.

That calling is what took him to D.C. for a summer post-college graduation. During his stay, he interned for a non-profit across the Potomac River in Virginia where he helped organize data bases and information pertaining to events across the country. It was in this same summer where Daniel had the opportunity to execute a national conference in Indianapolis.

Now, Daniel is running with experience and energy. With your vote, he is willing to channel them into his work on the county board to see results that the people of this county deserve.
